BMS Tube Type heat transfer sensors
are manufactured into customer supplied boiler tubing. The
tubes with the sensor installed are then welded back into
the boiler as replacement tube sections. These welds form
part of the boiler pressure boundary. In order to comply
with Federal legislation in the USA, BMS are fully accredited
to the ASME quality standard and hold an ASME 'S' stamp.
Installation of pressure part tubes that do not carry ASME
approval will, in most cases, render boiler insurance certification
invalid.
